We’re going down to Philly for -000’s birthday party tonight! (His birthday is actually tomorrow ^_^!) YAAAAAAAAAY!!! I can’t wait!

I also can’t seem to sit still enuff to edit pics & videos from the show. T_T I will do it soon, I promise! In the meantime, will you watch this 3OH!3 video and explain it to me? (This song was blaring out of a red convertible on our way back from the show. The driver pulled up next to our cab and winked at us >_O) I suppose it’s catchy but… …is this like some kind of suburban boy backlash against the rise of the hipster-nerd-dork aesthetic? Like “we can be ironic & have fun too”? And why do they hafta drag good ol’ Helen Keller into it?

Despite these differences, everybody agrees that today’s weather is craptastic, but perfect for staying inside with a cup of double cappucino and a movie! We highly recommend either of these two:

We have been informed. We are now playing at 8:45 p.m.* at The Annex this Wednesday. Not 9:00 p.m. as previously stated. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you soon! ^_^

*This is the time that The Annex told us. They seem pretty punctual. Lame, right!? I think time in NYC should be a function of subway delays, the weather, and the latest heel style. Also, everyone deserves a 15-minute window.

Sorry about sending the broken email! A fixed up pretty one is coming! It’s in the queue! >_<

Don’t worry, I will practice more! Plus Amazon’s delivering me a sweet headset mic tomorrow so that I’ll be able to see my hands when I sing! ^_^

What a relief, we are more not-hipster than hipster!! People who voted for “hipster”, I continue to implore you, please explain your reasoning! (commenting is open to hipsters and non-hipsters alike!)

Speaking of hipsters, did you go to the Raster-Noton store opening at e-flux last week? Hipsters were overflowing onto the sidewalk! They were especially serious looking and they weren’t afraid of the rain! Some actually looked kind of old too… When I got closer, it turned out that they weren’t hipsters at all — they were German! ^_^ I took a quick video for you while I wedged in between a bunch of them:

Anyway. Raster-Noten sounded good, like fun to zone out to, especially with the optical-illusion/geometric-type visuals, but it was just too cramped & crowded to relax. The best part of the show was that Camila from J’aime and I was also in the audience!! She was hard to recognize without her mask on.

It was very difficult to say “Hello” to someone I had only seen on stage or with a giant paper mask on, even though that person is very nice. I hope that if you see us on the street, you will not be afraid to say “Hi”! I know you are looking for us! We can take pictures together & post them on the blog! ^_^
