LAST YEAR'S MODEL

Hey guys!!!  I’m so sorry we’ve been so quiet.  This fall has been a slow time for Last Year’s Model for a number of reasons, but don’t worry, we are coming back to you soon.  I just wanted to take a second to tell you all about all of the cool stuff that’s coming up so GET STOKED TIMES A MILLION, OKAY??!!

First off…we are sold out of “New Wave of Attack Mode Robot Pop!!”  So thank you for purchasing it!!   Without your support we could never continue (even tho I wish I could stay home all day and write music in a vacuum, it is still good to share with you<3)!!  Because of this (and I know that we’ve mentioned it before) we’ve been recording a ton!!  We have almost a full album’s worth of material that we are currently mixing, so expect a new release early in the new year!  I’m not sure yet whether it will be an album or an ep or what, but there will be new music for your ipod I promise!!

Second, the first song that we will release is live favorite 2012!!  If you don’t remember this song, I can only say that it is about the coming apocalypse and the importance of stimulating our suffering economy!  We are also part way through shooting a video for this song.  I came up with the concept myself and so I’m very excited to be working on it.  It is being shot by our good friend Evan Neel at several exotic locations:  my bedroom and in front of some rad keyboard graffiti down the street from my apt in Brooklyn.  This is the first video that we have ever made (not live) so I hope you will enjoy it!

XMESS APPROACHES!!!  I don’t want to give it away, but we are also making a holiday video and song for you.  Expect it by mid December!!!

So I promise we will be playing lots again very soon, but in the mean time, send us lots of support cuz we are working really hard and I can’t wait to hear what you guys think about all of our new stuff!!!  Make sure you tell everyone you know about your favorite robot pop band, and we will tell everyone how much you don’t suck.  See you very soon!!!
