First was this band, I can’t remember their name or find it anywhere, but they were great. Maybe they were called Stranded in Stereo? They were called Crooked Looks! (Thanks for remembering 004!) The lead singer was very passionate & banged the microphone stand on the floor a lot. He was also good at wolf-whistling and the drummer had some pretty cool dance moves that involved other people’s purses! (That was during the Hank & Cupcakes set.)

Next up was Crooked Looks Brothers Movement! They were totally different, and had so many guitars! It’s kind of hard to see in the video but they’re playing a guitar with a bow — so awesomely analog!

And the next-to-last band was Hank & Cupcakes! Watching them made me want to play bass on a guitar with lots of pedals instead of on a keyboard. Playing drums while standing up seems pretty fun too. This short video is one of the less dramatic parts of their set, but do not be fooled, they are for real! They even rushed off to play at another party after their set like real rockstars. In contrast, I went home to go to sleep right after our set and forgot to tell the rest of the MODELs where the merch was, and then I couldn’t fall asleep and played video games instead.

I don’t have any video from our set b/c I was on stage. You should come see us at the next show! It’s on a Saturday, in Manhattan, with our favorite Resonator friends!
